Ferrino Renews Partnership with Glitch Camp for Milan Design Week 2026
Ferrino renews its collaboration with Glitch Camp, the IED project that brings urban camping to the heart of Milan Design Week.
Now in its third year, the event will host over 300 Glitchers from all over the world, transforming the tent into a space for sharing, experimentation, and collective living.
For the 2026 edition, the camp will find a new location at the former Porta Vittoria slaughterhouse, within an urban regeneration project that will see the construction of the future IED campus. This post-industrial space will become a meeting place for the creative community, the local area, and contemporary design.
In this context, Ferrino contributes by supplying technical outdoor tents, designed for trekking and camping, creating a true urban campsite. This project reinterprets the outdoors in a contemporary way, bringing an iconic object like the tent into the language of design and temporary living.

Re-Life: Ferrino's upcycling workshop
Within Glitch Camp, Ferrino will also be the protagonist with Re-Life, an upcycling workshop dedicated to the creative reuse of outdoor materials.
The activity will take place on April 25th at the Ex Macello in Milan , over the course of the whole day, with two four-hour sessions (morning and afternoon), for a total of 16 participants divided into small groups.
The workshop aims to give new life to discarded outdoor products, transforming them into unique objects through a conscious design process. Participants will be guided through the development of a product using recycled materials from Ferrino tents, navigating all stages of the creative process: from concept development to pattern creation, right up to the selection and cutting of materials.
The construction phase will be supported by the Ferrino team, made up of machinists and technicians, offering participants the opportunity to directly experience the use of sewing machines under supervision.
An immersive experience that combines design, craftsmanship, and sustainability, showcasing materials and skills in a creative and unconventional context.
