Re-Life
Ferrino Re-Life is the project that gives a second life to products that have already experienced adventure.
When a tent or piece of equipment can no longer accompany new expeditions, its journey does not end: it changes shape.
Re-Life takes shape within Ferrino's sustainability path and represents a natural evolution of the brand's commitment towards a more circular, responsible and conscious model
WHERE RE-LIFE COMES FROM
For over 150 years, Ferrino has been designing equipment designed to accompany people over time, season after season, adventure after adventure.
Durability has always been part of the brand's DNA, along with attention to materials and their function. Re-Life was born from this very vision: taking responsibility for what happens after use. When a product reaches a point where it can no longer fulfill its original purpose, Ferrino chooses not to stop at the end of its life, but to look beyond.
The Re-Life project brings together and promotes concrete actions aimed at extending the value of Ferrino products, reducing waste and promoting a more conscious approach to the outdoors. It's a way to continue caring for the equipment, resources, and stories each product brings.

THE VALUES OF THE PROJECT
- Restoring value to existing technical materials
- Extend the life of outdoor equipment
- Engaging people in a creative and conscious process
- Transforming sustainability into a concrete experience
Taking care of the product
Re-Life is part of Ferrino's broader commitment to extending the life of its products.
Maintenance is the first step to making a product last longer. Small steps, like proper cleaning, proper storage, or periodic checks, can make a big difference in the performance and lifespan of your outdoor gear.
That's why we provide practical information and helpful tips on how to care for Ferrino products, from tents to backpacks to technical apparel. Proper maintenance helps preserve materials, prevent damage, and reduce the need for more invasive repairs over time.
Taking care of your gear also means adopting a more responsible approach to the outdoors, making the most of what you already own.

Repair to last longer
A Ferrino product is designed to withstand real-world use, harsh conditions, and the passage of time. When equipment is actually used, it's natural that it may get damaged or require repair.
In these cases, repair is often the best option: it allows you to extend the product's life, maintain its performance, and continue to use it safely.
Ferrino employs specialized technicians with in-depth knowledge of the materials, construction, and components of our products. We evaluate each request individually and, when possible, provide targeted repairs, using original spare parts and solutions compatible with the original design.
Repairing means reducing waste, avoiding premature replacements, and respecting the value of the gear that accompanies your adventures.

RE-LIFE Upcycling Workshop
The Re-Life project includes an upcycling workshop, an experiential laboratory open to the public.
Here, discarded tents become raw material for the creation of new objects, thanks to a creative reuse process that directly involves people.
Supported by Ferrino machinists, participants can choose materials, cut, and contribute to the creation of unique pieces, each different from the next, because each one has a different story.
The Re-Life workshop is a practical way to share sustainability experiences, transforming reuse into an active and conscious act.
