People

Behind every Ferrino product there are people, skills and passion.

The Ferrino team
The Ferrino team
We are a company built on the skills and experience of the people who work at Ferrino every day, across all company functions: product design and development, research and testing, quality control, logistics, administration, sales, and customer service. This organization allows us to directly monitor the various stages of the production process and guarantee high standards of quality and service.

Our team is made up of 58% women and 42% men, with a balanced distribution across the company's various departments. The company's workforce is characterized by a strong level of experience: 55% of people are over 50, 31% are between 30 and 50, and 14% are under 30. This generational mix allows us to integrate consolidated skills and new perspectives, fostering continuity, the transfer of know-how, and the evolution of our processes.

We prioritize stable employment relationships because we believe that employment continuity is key to quality work and long-term skill development. The experience we gain internally is a strategic asset for us, contributing to the reliability of our products and processes, in a business model that puts people at the center.

Outdoor Community

Ferrino's commitment to communities translates into concrete actions that generate real value: inclusion, local development, and support for emergency situations.

The company's presence in the manufacturing district is reflected in stable employment in a vibrant, skilled, and growing local supply chain. At the same time, Ferrino collaborates with NGOs, associations, and humanitarian organizations, providing technical equipment in critical contexts.

Particularly significant are the projects dedicated to the sporting inclusion of people with disabilities: initiatives designed to make the mountains and the outdoors accessible to all, overcoming physical and cultural barriers.

These interventions convey the deepest meaning of our work: being an active part of a change that creates value for everyone.

Among the many activities supporting students is Glitch Camp, in partnership with IED, an urban campsite that offers free tent accommodation to students, allowing them to participate in the Salone del Mobile in Milan.

Ferrino is also committed to supporting the production of documentaries and awareness-raising films on relevant issues such as climate change and responsible tourism, through outdoor adventures at the limit:

  • Odyssea Borealis - produced by Vibram in collaboration with Ferrino;
  • Transcardus - produced entirely by Ferrino and directed by Elisa Bessega.
  • Jou - produced by Ferrino and directed by Sarrio Studio
Diversity & Inclusion
Diversity & Inclusion
We believe that diversity is a tangible driver of growth: it enriches the organization, fosters adaptability, and paves the way for innovation. That's why we adopt an approach to people management that values differences and promotes fairness in every decision.

Women make up the majority of our team and hold key technical, management, and decision-making roles. Their active and qualified participation directly contributes to our competitiveness.

To strengthen this commitment, we have adopted a Diversity and Inclusion Policy, which integrates and strengthens the principles of the Code of Ethics.

We ensure working conditions based on respect for the health, integrity, and dignity of every person, combating any form of discrimination or barriers to access and participation.

Among the issues we focus on is the wage gap, which we address through ongoing monitoring and corrective actions aimed at achieving equity.

At the same time, we are investing in making our spaces and activities more accessible, convinced that diversity must be integrated into daily practice and into the design of more effective and inclusive solutions.
