An itinerary of great environmental interest and with a profound cultural and historical significance: a journey through memories, to reflect and meditate.
The “Path of Peace” is a trail that follows the front line of the First World War, in what was the western sector of the Italo-Austrian war, fought between 1915 and 1918. The route winds for approximately 604 km, from the Stelvio Pass to the Marmolada, connecting the peaks of the glaciers to the Alpine valley floors and creating a large network of trails that allows hikers to reach forts, strongholds, valley cuts, military roads, and trenches set up by the Italian and Austro-Hungarian armies during the First World War.
On the occasion of the Trento Film Festival, the remapping of the route, curated last summer by the Va' Sentiero team, will be presented. A day of trekking open to the public will follow, with moments of historical, cultural and landscape study, along a stage in Alpe Cimbra, from Luserna to Passo Vezzena.

From Luserna to Passo Vezzena | 10.6 km | approx. duration 4h | elevation gain 400 m+, 250 m-
Points of interest along the route: Forte Luserna, Trenches, Forte Busa Verle.
Packed lunch
1.30pm_ show “A (s)ragionar di guerra”, by the Gli (S)legati company at Forte Busa Verle
4.00 pm_ Return transfer to Luserna (free, dedicated to those participants who left their car at the starting point)
Useful information
The May 5th trek will be led by professional guides from the Va' Sentiero team and by Roberto Genovese from Trentino Marketing.
Transportation to and from the starting point is the responsibility of the individual participants.
Public participation is free and open to all adults and accompanied minors; each participant has full personal responsibility.
In case of rain the event will be cancelled
