THE TRAVELER'S DILEMMA: WHICH BACKPACK SHOULD I CHOOSE?
FERRINO AND WEROAD LAUNCH PACHAMAMA, THE BACKPACK DESIGNED FOR ON THE ROAD TRAVEL
Available for pre-order from May 29th, Pachamama is the result of Ferrino's technical skills and the experience of WeRoad Coordinators and was created to meet the common need of those who, after booking a trip, do not know what luggage to leave with.
Choosing to go on a trip is simple: you cross-reference your holidays with available tours, you scroll through Instagram to get inspired by videos and images of spectacular destinations, a look at the most convenient flights, and with one click your holidays are booked. Since WeRoad exists, you don’t even need to seek compromises with friends who have holidays in other periods or who have different travel desires, because as it says on the home page of the WeRoad website “Pack your backpack, we’ll bring your friends”. But from today WeRoad will not only think about your travel companions, but also about your backpack. Thanks to a technical partnership with Ferrino, the Italian brand of excellence for the supply of outdoor material, “Pachamama”, the backpack designed specifically for on-the-road and backpacking trips, is available for pre-order on weroad.shop from May 29th.
“After booking a WeRoad, the question we receive most often concerns luggage for travel: is a backpack or a trolley better? What size should it be? What features? So over time we have established collaborations with other brands to meet the needs of WeRoaders, but at a certain point we said to ourselves: why don't we create a backpack ourselves? So we involved Ferrino and thanks to the advice of the WeRoad Coordinators, who are used to traveling around the world a lot, we created Pachamama” comments Fabio Bin, Co-founder & CMO of WeRoad.
The backpack is therefore the result of Ferrino's technical skills and the experience of the WeRoad Coordinators, who (it's really the case to say!) have many trips all over the world on their shoulders. It is a 50L backpack, measuring 72x40x23 cm and available in blue and red. It is made of resistant materials and the back is composed of the "Air Convector Tech" ventilation system, ergonomic and super breathable in mesh fabric, with double density shaped padding for optimal breathability: a back supported by a polyethylene panel with removable flexible steel internal stick, for better load distribution and stability during transport. It includes several pockets for every eventuality, the internal separator, a convenient front access with U-shaped zip, pole holder, a front elastic material holder and additional removable straps on the bottom.
The backpack will be available exclusively on the WeRoad online shop (www.weroad.shop) and available at a discounted price for all WeRoaders.
“We named our backpack “Pachamama” in honor of our company mascot:
a stuffed alpaca named after him and brought from Peru by Paolo De Nadai,
one of the three co-founders, after one of the very first WeRoad trips 7 years ago.
Since then Pachamama has kept us company between the desks in our office,
From today he will be with us on every trip.”
Fabio Bin, WeRoad
