For its tenth anniversary, the most demanding endurance trail in the world is enriched with two new races on the trails of the Aosta Valley: the Tor des Glacier (450 km 32,000 D+) and the Passage Au Malatrà (Tor30 - 30 km, 2,300 D+). This effectively consecrates the presence of Ferrino at the Tor, which with its technical and logistical support, confirms itself as a point of reference for the athletes of the competition.
FERRINO WOMEN TEAM
On the starting lines of Tor, Tor130 and Tor30 we will find as always the girls of the Ferrino Women Team. A renewed group, even more numerous and always close-knit that sees 10 girls from Italy, Spain, USA, Austria and Russia running together.
The tried and tested trio of Italian athletes formed by Luisa Balsamo , Scilla Tonetti (2nd at Tor 2018) and Alice Modignani Fasoli will be joined by the Tuscan rebel Maria Elisabetta Lastri , a new entry in the Team. With them on the starting line of the Tor, ready to tackle the brutal and fascinating Aosta Valley route, there will be the American Alyssa Clark and the two Spanish Mireia Soler and Mónica Guilera , selected through an online contest organized by Ferrino in Spain.
Russian athletes Alena Shevchuk and Mariya Maltseva , who will run the Tor130 and Tor30 respectively, also won a bib to participate in this incredible edition.
On the paths of the Passage au Malatrà (Tor30), we will also see the young Austrian athlete Ina Forchthammer parade.
LIFE BASE AND BIVOUACS AT HIGH ALTITUDE EQUIPPED WITH THE FERRINO EXPERIENCE
Ferrino, a Turin-based company that has been a leader in the outdoor sector for 150 years, has been collaborating with the organization of the Tor des Géants® since its first edition, to support the efforts of athletes along the paths, ridges and high-altitude passes with its experience and the quality of the company's technical equipment.
Ferrino will provide the organization of all 4 races planned for this tenth edition with suitable technical material, such as camp beds for athletes to rest in the life bases and high-altitude tents to accommodate them along the route. Ferrino bivouacs at high altitude will also be set up for the most challenging and inhospitable passages of the route between the Aosta Valley valleys: the Tor volunteers will thus be supported in their fundamental work with the supply of Ferrino tents and sleeping bags.

Ferrino helps its giants to best face all the difficulties and the variety of conditions of the Tor des Géants® thanks to a tireless work of research and development and field tests that over the years has led to the growth of the Trail line, focused on the development of new products, tents, backpacks, sleeping bags, clothing and accessories, that best adapt to the enthusiasts of this discipline and allow important performances with an increasingly higher degree of safety and comfort.
